The Boys prequel, Vought Rising, reveals an initial glimpse at the original Supes.

      As the fifth and final season of The Boys is underway in production, Prime Video has unveiled a collection of first-look images from the prequel series Vought Rising. This series features Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy and explores the origins of Vought as well as the first generation of superheroes within the franchise.

      Vought Rising is described as “a twisted murder mystery centered around the establishment of Vought in the 1950s, the early deeds of Soldier Boy, and the sinister strategies of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then known as Clara Vought.”

      The images showcase Ackles as Soldier Boy, Mason Dye as Bombsight, Will Hochman as Torpedo, and Elizabeth Posey as Private Angel. Additionally, Aya Cash will reprise her role as Stormfront, joined by newcomers KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolò Pasetti, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith.

      Vought Rising marks the second spin-off of The Boys, following Gen V, which focuses on a younger generation of Supes and runs concurrently with the main series. The second season of Gen V is set to debut on September 17th, while The Boys' final season is expected to premiere in 2026.

      Paul Grellong is the showrunner and executive producer of Vought Rising, with the creator of The Boys also serving as an executive producer. Executive producers for the prequel include Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and both Ackles and Cash.
