Neon is aiming for a third consecutive success in the horror genre with Keeper, their latest dark offering from Longlegs and The Monkey director Osgood Perkins.
The screenplay, penned by Nick Lepard of Dangerous Animals fame, is wrapped in mystery but seems to center on a couple, portrayed by Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor), who both grapple with the question of whether their love story has reached its end. “Keeper depicts a couple who escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a remote cabin. When Malcolm (Sutherland) unexpectedly heads back to the city, Liz (Maslany) finds herself alone and confronted by a horrific evil that reveals the chilling secrets of the cabin.”
