Chart a course for the Delta Quadrant with Star Trek: Voyager - Beyond the Unknown.
Daedalic Entertainment and developer gameXcite have revealed that Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown is in development for PC and consoles. This all-new story-driven survival strategy game set in the Star Trek universe invites players to experience and reshape the journey of the U.S.S. Voyager as it makes its way home from the Delta Quadrant. Check out the new teaser trailer below.
Combining exploration, ship and resource management, and roguelite mechanics, Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown tasks players with taking command of the U.S.S. Voyager in an attempt to traverse the 12 expansive sectors of the Delta Quadrant back to Federation space. Players will encounter crew dynamics as they make crucial decisions that affect the fate of the crew and the configuration of the U.S.S. Voyager itself.
With each playthrough, the Voyager transforms into a different iteration of itself, as if it has been reengineered based on the choices made in the previous sessions. While some alterations may simplify certain situations, they can also impact the destinies of crew members.
Throughout each playthrough, players will manage the ship, its systems, and its crew. They will have the chance to explore, gather intelligence, engage in diplomatic situations, and navigate the tough moral dilemmas that captains often face. Players will encounter familiar characters, but the outcomes for them may differ greatly from what was depicted in the TV series, depending on the choices made.
