Psychological horror game Prop Haunt set to enter Early Access this month.

      Indie developer Silent Forest Games has announced that their psychological horror multiplayer title, Prop Haunt, will launch on Steam Early Access on 29th August. This 4v1 supernatural hide-and-seek game allows players to assume the role of ghosts haunting objects or to chase them down as investigators.

      In Prop Haunt, participants can choose to be one of four playful ghosts or a solo investigator tasked with uncovering and reporting the hauntings. As a ghost, players can haunt common objects to exert their influence on the physical realm. They possess the ability to teleport between rooms, inhabit props to conceal themselves, and execute frightening tricks to impede the investigator, including causing blackouts, slowdowns, and jump scares. On the other hand, investigators must employ various gadgets, such as cameras to identify the phantoms and a zapper to incapacitate them.

      Upon the game's Early Access launch, players will have access to four distinct Ghosts, each with their own unique haunting abilities. There will be two separate maps to explore, featuring numerous locations for hiding and engaging in mischievous haunting activities. Players will also have the option to create public and private lobbies, enabling them to play with friends or connect with new players.

      During the Early Access phase, Silent Forest Games plans to collaborate closely with the community to enhance the game with new features, including Investigator tools, procedural prop generation for limitless replayability, leaderboards, and more.
