
Spider-Man: Brand New Day includes Severance's Tramell Tillman in its cast.
Filming for Sony and Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day is ongoing, and Variety has reported that Tramell Tillman, known for his role in Severance, has joined the cast for Tom Holland’s fourth solo Spider-Man film.
Tillman is recognized for his Emmy-nominated performance as Seth Milchick in the popular Apple TV+ series, with additional credits that include Godfather of Harlem, Hunters, and Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Details about his character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day are not yet revealed, leading to fan speculation suggesting he might portray villains such as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin or Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone, or possibly Jefferson Davis, the father of Miles Morales.
In addition to the announcement of Tramell Tillman’s casting, there are rumors that Florence Pugh, known for her roles in Black Widow and Thunderbolts, will appear in the movie as Yelena Belova, although this has not been officially confirmed.
What is confirmed is that Tillman will join Tom Holland, portraying Peter Parker/Spider-Man, along with returning actors Zendaya and Jacob Batalon as MJ and Ned, respectively. Michael Mando will reprise his role as Scorpion from Spider-Man: Homecoming, while Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo will enhance the MCU roster as The Punisher and The Hulk. Sadie Sink from Stranger Things is also cast in a role that has not yet been disclosed, as is Liza Colon-Zayas from The Bear.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) and is scheduled to be released on July 31st, 2026.
