With under two weeks to go before its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, Sony Pictures Classics has unveiled a new teaser trailer for James Vanderbilt’s drama.
Inspired by Jack El-Hai’s book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, the film follows psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) as he engages in a complex battle of wits with Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), Adolf Hitler's right-hand man, while trying to ascertain who is competent to face trial for their crimes.
The cast, alongside Oscar winners Malek and Crowe, includes John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, Wrenn Schmidt, Lotte Verbeek, and Andreas Pietschmann. You can watch the trailer below…
The Allies, led by the determined chief prosecutor Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), are tasked with holding the Nazi regime accountable for the horrific revelations of the Holocaust, while a U.S. Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) finds himself in a tense psychological standoff with former Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe).
Nuremberg is set to be released in theaters on November 7th in the United States and on November 14th in the United Kingdom.
