Survival horror game Woodland Werewolf set to release in January.

As zombies continue to dominate the horror genre, it's refreshing to see developers incorporate other nocturnal monsters into their games. Developer PaulChristianIndieGame.com has chosen to embrace the classic werewolf theme with Woodland Werewolf, set to launch in January 2026.

In Woodland Werewolf, players will navigate a haunting forest resort while working as an employee tasked with managing the final guests of the holiday season, all while surviving an onslaught of savage and cunning werewolves that emerge from the forest's depths.

As the last line of defense against these creatures, players must scavenge for limited resources, set traps, make difficult decisions, rescue the innocent guests, and uncover the origin of the werewolf threat. While exploring the moonlit woods and dilapidated buildings, players will have to determine when to engage in combat, when to conceal themselves, and when to outsmart the enemy by fleeing.

Featuring intense action and overwhelming horror, players can utilize the environment to gain an upper hand, set various traps to hinder the werewolves, and employ distraction tactics to mislead them. When necessary, players can unleash powerful attacks with firearms, ensuring that every bullet is used wisely and every first aid kit is conserved.

Stay tuned for more updates on Woodland Werewolf in the future.
