Dynamite's reimagining of Red Sonja progresses with a first look preview of Sonja Reborn #2.

Dynamite Entertainment and writer Christopher Priest's reimagining of Red Sonja, titled Sonja Reborn, continues in October with the release of the second issue in the new series. You can preview the next installment below with an exclusive first-look.

Believing she might be dreaming, hallucinating, or possibly even dead, the newly revived Red Sonja (formerly Maggie Sutherland, who was in the UK) thinks that her best chance of escaping this apparent nightmare is to allow the worst to unfold. This decision puts her young squire and makeshift teacher/tour guide, Faolán, in significant danger, as it is up to him to help Sonja realize that this is truly happening—before she inadvertently gets them both killed!

Renowned storyteller CHRISTOPHER PRIEST and celebrated artist ALESSANDRO MIRACOLO intensify the excitement in the second issue of Sonja Reborn, featuring stunning covers by STJEPAN SEJIC, STUART SAYGER, CHAD HARDIN, GREG LAND, and cosplay by ANI-MIA!

Sonja Reborn #2 is scheduled for release on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025.
