The animated movie Stitch Head has released its trailer in anticipation of its Halloween debut.

Briarcliff Entertainment has revealed a poster and trailer for Stitch Head, the forthcoming animated family horror-comedy directed by Steve Hudson and Toby Genkel, based on Guy Bass’ popular children's book series.

The story revolves around the eponymous small but endearingly creepy creature, who is awakened by a mad professor to safeguard the creations within his castle from the wary townspeople.

The voice cast features Asa Butterfield, Joel Fry, Tia Bannon, Rob Brydon, Alison Steadman, Fern Brady, Jamali Maddix, and Ryan Sampson. Watch the trailer below...

High above the quaint town of Grubbers Nubbin, in a laboratory inside a castle, the most eccentric of professors nearly brings monstrous creations to life but then forgets about them completely. So who manages the castle? Who ensures the monsters behave to prevent an uprising from the townsfolk? That responsibility falls to Stitch Head, the professor's first creation. He carries out his duties unnoticed and unappreciated. However, when a rundown freak show arrives in town, its cunning owner, Fulbert Freakfinder, comes to offer Stitch Head fame, wealth, and perhaps even romance. A charming and heartfelt take on the Frankenstein tale, STITCH HEAD is a comedic adventure suitable for monsters of all ages.

Stitch Head will be in theaters this Halloween.
