In anticipation of its theatrical debut this October, 20th Century Studios has released a new trailer for director Scott Cooper’s forthcoming biopic, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Inspired by Warren Zanes’ book of the same title, the film focuses on a young Bruce Springsteen (Jeremy Allen White) during the creation of his 1982 album Nebraska, as he grapples with the challenges of his rising fame.

Joining Jeremy Allen White in the cast are Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s longtime confidant and manager Jon Landau; Paul Walter Hauser as guitar technician Mike Batlan; Stephen Graham as Springsteen’s father Doug; Odessa Young as his romantic interest Faye; Gaby Hoffman as Springsteen’s mother Adele; Marc Maron as Chuck Plotkin; and David Krumholtz as Columbia executive Al Teller. You can watch the trailer below…

“Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” tells the story of the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska” at a time when he was a budding artist on the brink of global fame, struggling to balance the demands of his success with the shadows of his past. Recorded on a 4-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album represented a crucial moment in his life and is regarded as one of his most significant works—a raw, haunting acoustic collection filled with lost souls in search of hope.

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere is set to hit theaters on October 24th.
