True Brit Entertainment has released a poster and trailer for Christmas Karma, a musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol, directed by Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham) and set in contemporary London.
The film features a cast that includes Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Billy Porter, Boy George, Leo Suter, Pixie Lott, Charithra Chandran, Danny Dyer, and Hugh Bonneville. You can watch the trailer below along with a collection of character posters.
From the visionary British director Gurinder Chadha (Bend It Like Beckham, Blinded By The Light), CHRISTMAS KARMA reimagines one of history’s greatest novels, Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, into a delightful and vibrant Christmas musical that celebrates the diverse communities and cultures of modern-day London.
Presented through Chadha’s unique perspective and distinctive style, the film echoes Dickens’ insightful commentary on the human experience, tackling themes of prejudice, acceptance, reconciliation, identity, and belonging. Christmas Karma will be released in cinemas on November 14th.
