Netflix has unveiled a trailer for The Great Flood, a South Korean sci-fi disaster thriller directed by Kim Byung-woo.
The film follows An-na (Kim Da-mi), an AI researcher, and her young son Ja-in (Kwon Eun-seong) as a devastating flood engulfs the world, leaving them trapped in their submerged apartment. They receive a communication from a member of a security team (Park Hae-soo), who presents a mission that could save humanity but also forces An-na to confront an impossible choice. In what could be Earth’s final day, a fight for survival in a flooded apartment quickly turns into the only chance for humankind’s existence. The Great Flood will be available on Netflix starting December 19th.
