With the release of Paul Greengrass’ latest film, **The Lost Bus**, in theaters today, Apple TV+ has unveiled a new trailer for the survival thriller featuring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera.
**The Lost Bus** is inspired by true events surrounding the California wildfires in November 2018, highlighting McConaughey as a school bus driver tasked with rescuing nearly two dozen children from the advancing flames. The film draws from Lizzie Johnson's non-fiction book, **Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire**, with a screenplay penned by Greengrass and Brad Ingelsby.
The film is set for a limited release in select theaters starting today and will be available on Apple’s streaming platform on October 3rd. Alongside McConaughey and Ferrera, the cast includes Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson. Check out the trailer below...
**The Lost Bus** offers a gripping experience during one of the deadliest wildfires in America, portraying a wayward school bus driver (Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey) and a devoted teacher (Emmy, SAG, and Golden Globe Award-winner America Ferrera) as they fight to rescue 22 children from the devastating blaze.
