The initial trailer for the Anaconda reboot featuring Jack Black and Paul Rudd has been released.
Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first trailer for the comedy action horror film Anaconda. Directed by Tom Gormican, the story follows best friends Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd), whose midlife crisis leads them to recreate their favorite film – the 1997 creature feature Anaconda – and venture into the Amazon to start production, where they encounter a series of chaotic events that could potentially be fatal.
Joining Black and Rudd in the film are Steve Zahn, Thandiwe Newton, Daniela Melchior, and Selton Mello. You can watch the trailer below…
Doug (Jack Black) and Griff (Paul Rudd) have been inseparable since childhood and have always wanted to remake their beloved movie: the so-called cinematic “classic” Anaconda. When a midlife crisis finally prompts them to pursue their dream, they travel deep into the Amazon to begin filming. However, things take a frightening turn when a real giant anaconda shows up, transforming their hilariously chaotic film set into a life-threatening situation. The movie they’re eager to create? It could end up costing them their lives.
Anaconda is set to hit theaters this Christmas.
