      Hulu has released the first trailer and a poster for The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, a forthcoming remake of the 1992 psychological thriller directed by Michelle Garza Cervera.

      Maika Monroe plays the role of Polly Murphy, a woman employed as a nanny by the affluent suburban mother Caitlin (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). However, the family soon discovers that Polly is not who she claims to be. Watch the trailer below...

      Joining Monroe and Winstead in the cast are Raúl Castillo, Martin Starr, Mileiah Vega, Riki Lindhome, and Shannon Cochran.

      The Hand That Rocks the Cradle will debut on Hulu on October 22nd.
