IFC Films has unveiled a poster and trailer for the upcoming crime thriller Violent Ends, written and directed by John-Michael Powell.
Billy Magnussen plays Lucas, a man seeking a tranquil life with his fiancée, distanced from his criminal family, but he is unexpectedly drawn back into the family business after his cousin commits a violent crime.
The cast includes James Badge Dale, Alexandra Shipp, Kate Burton, Ray McKinnon, and Nick Stahl. You can view the trailer below.
Set in the Ozark Mountains, Lucas Frost (Magnussen) is an honest man raised in a crime family known solely for its legacy of violence. Just as Lucas attempts to build a peaceful life with his fiancée, Emma (Shipp), he finds himself pulled back into the family affairs when his cousin, Eli, carries out an armed robbery with dire repercussions.
Violent Ends is set to hit theaters on October 31st.
