Lionsgate has unveiled a trailer for the supernatural horror film The Salem Chronicles, written and directed by Thomas J. Churchill. The story centers on a young detective who returns to Salem to manage his late mother’s estate, only to uncover the chilling reality of his family’s lineage as the sinister evil from their history emerges in his childhood home.

Family ties are unbreakable. When a young detective goes back to his childhood residence in Salem, Massachusetts, to take care of his mother's estate, he learns the dark truth about his ancestry. The lethal witches and magic from centuries ago continue to haunt him, thirsting for vengeance in New England's most infamous town. The horrors of his family's sinister past return to threaten him and his pregnant wife as they come to realize there’s no escaping the terror that awaits them in a house filled with nightmares.
The Salem Chronicles will be available on digital platforms starting October 21st.
