Vertical has released a poster and trailer for the sci-fi thriller The Astronaut, written and directed by Jess Varley, ahead of its US premiere next month.
Kate Mara stars as Sam Walker, an astronaut who, after crashing on Earth, is placed in quarantine within a remote house. Following a series of odd occurrences, she starts to suspect that something may have come back with her from space.
The cast also includes Laurence Fishburne and Gabriel Luna. You can watch the trailer below...
After an astronaut (Kate Mara) crash-lands on Earth, a General (Laurence Fishburne) places her in quarantine for recovery and evaluation. As unsettling events transpire, she grows concerned that an extraterrestrial presence has followed her to Earth.
The Astronaut is scheduled to be released on October 17th.
