Directed by Paul Feig, the film immerses viewers in a distorted reality where perfection is merely a facade, and everything is deceptive. Seeking to escape her past, Millie (Sydney Sweeney) takes a position as a live-in housemaid for the affluent Nina (Amanda Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). However, what initially appears to be a dream job soon devolves into a perilous situation — a tantalizing game filled with secrets, scandal, and power dynamics. Behind the closed doors of the Winchesters lies a world of shocking twists that will keep you guessing until the very last moment.
The Housemaid is scheduled for release in the US on December 19th and in the UK on December 27th.
