The remake of the classic platformer Pac-Man World 2, titled Re-Pac, has been released on PC and consoles.

      Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced the release of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac for PC and consoles. This remake captures the essence of the original while updating the gameplay for a new generation of Pac-Man enthusiasts. Enter Pac-Land to chase after the Ghosts on a quest to retrieve the taken Golden Fruit. Check out the launch trailer below.

      Run, munch, and butt-bounce across Pac-Land as the iconic Pac-Man in this carefully remade title featuring new gameplay mechanics. Experience classic platforming action through various environments, including meadows, icy peaks, volcanoes, and ocean levels, while facing tough enemies, colossal bosses, and the wicked Spooky. You can unleash a variety of attacks and moves, such as the new Super Butt Bounce, along with the enhanced Flip Kick, Ice Skating, Snorkelling, Pac-Marine, and many more, ensuring the Ghosts won't stand a chance.

      This remake introduces fresh and updated bosses, entirely new levels, and an innovative Time Trial Mode that invites players to race through levels and vie for top rankings on global leaderboards. As an extra incentive to keep playing, there’s a village arcade within the game featuring three classic Pac-Man titles: Pac-Man, Pac-Attack, and PacMania. Additionally, there's a Gashapon machine where players can use in-game coins to purchase collectible figures.

      Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. A Deluxe Edition that includes the Collaboration DLC with Sonic is expected to be released this November.
