      In anticipation of its digital release this October, a poster and trailer have been unveiled for Craig Packard’s western drama, This Bloody Country. The film tells the story of a Mormon family embarking on a quest to establish a new church outpost. However, their journey is interrupted by a band of violent men, compelling their guide to unite the women and children for self-defense.

      The cast features Rainey Qualley, Larry Cedar, Jacob Ward, Martin Dingle Wall, and Maggie Gwin. Check out the trailer below…

      Set in 1869, a family departs from Salt Lake City on a challenging mission to create a new outpost for their church. They transport all their possessions, leaving behind their sense of security. The landscape is harsh and relentless. When they encounter dangerous men, their attempt to escape quickly fails. With no other options available, they must ready themselves to fend off an imminent attack. Their pursuers have the upper hand since a group primarily consisting of women and children cannot easily confront outlaws in the untamed wilderness… unless they find a way to do so.

      This Bloody Country will be available on digital platforms starting October 17th.
