Kevin James and Alan Ritchson have a fun Playdate in the trailer for the Prime Video action comedy.

      Prime Video has released a poster and trailer for the action comedy Playdate, directed by Luke Greenfield.

      Kevin James plays Brian, an unemployed accountant who accepts an invitation for a playdate from charismatic stay-at-home dad Jeff (Alan Ritchson). However, what begins as a fun afternoon quickly spirals into chaos when they become targets of mercenaries.

      When recently jobless accountant Brian (Kevin James) agrees to a playdate with the charming stay-at-home dad Jeff (Alan Ritchson) and their sons, he anticipates a laid-back afternoon filled with casual conversation and some football. Instead, he finds himself in a frantic fight for survival as they are chased by a relentless team of mercenaries. Brian faces a series of outrageous challenges, his lack of tactical ability sharply contrasting with Jeff's uncanny preparedness.
