Emily Browning stars in the trailer for the time-loop comedy "One More Shot."

      Vertigo Releasing has unveiled a trailer, poster, and images for *One More Shot*, a time-loop comedy directed by Nicholas Clifford.

      Set on New Year's Eve 1999, the film centers around Minnie (Emily Browning), who attends a lavish party at a beach house and discovers that a bottle of tequila she possesses can take her back to the start of the night with just one shot. This gives her a chance to alter the course of her disastrous evening before the arrival of Y2K.

      In addition to Emily Browning, the film features Aisha Dee, Sean Keenan, Hamish Michael, Anna McGahan, and Contessa Treffone. Check out the trailer below…

      On New Year’s Eve 1999, as Y2K approaches, Minnie Vernon (Browning), a trained anaesthetist, sees her ex-partner welcome a baby with his new girlfriend and realizes that something is missing in her life. That something could be the reappearance of her on-and-off love, Joe (Keenan), who has returned from New York to welcome the new millennium with their closest friends. When Minnie shows up at a sophisticated beach house with a mysterious bottle of tequila, she finds that Joe has brought along his new girlfriend. Things quickly spiral out of control, and when the clock strikes midnight for Y2K, Joe proposes. Minnie turns to the tequila, takes a shot, and is sent back to the moment she first arrived at the party. She understands that she has a limited number of shots to win Joe’s heart and begin her millennium properly. However, as she attempts to change the course of events, complications arise: no matter her actions, she cannot escape herself, ultimately learning to accept the consequences of her decisions. *One More Shot* is a time loop comedy that raises the question: does a woman need to disrupt the fabric of space and time to have it all?
