The remastered classic RTS, Outlive 25, has released a demo for the Steam Next Fest.

      Continuum Entertainment and CriticalLeap have unveiled a demo for their remastered classic RTS game, Outlive 25, as part of the Steam Next Fest. This demo will be available until October 20th and includes a standalone campaign that acts as a prologue to the three main campaigns, along with a tutorial to help players familiarize themselves with the genre. A teaser trailer is also available below.

      Outlive 25 is a remaster of the iconic 2000 RTS title developed by Continuum Entertainment, which challenged players to shape the Earth’s destiny between two factions: Humans and Robots, across three grand story campaigns. Set in a future where machines have rebelled against their creators, players will strive for world domination through base construction, exploration of terrain, and launching devastating attacks on their rivals.

      The remastered edition will feature improved graphics and sound while retaining the original's charm. It will also include an updated Campaign Editor allowing players to create and share their own maps, missions, and full campaigns. Additionally, players can use custom event scripting for controlled actions and design their own game modes.

      In addition to the three campaigns, players can engage in massive battles with up to 16 players at once, forming alliances, building armies, and defeating their opponents. There is also a chance to challenge oneself against Outlive 25's advanced AI in significant battles, with customizable unit AI enabling players to decide on their focus.

      Features include:

      - Upgrade units and enhance building efficiency through a comprehensive research tree.

      - Scout enemy bases, conduct stealth missions, and intercept missiles.

      - Automate unit behaviors to concentrate more on strategic planning.

      - Utilize diplomacy to establish alliances with other forces.

      The Outlive 25 demo is currently available on Steam, with the full game set to release later this year.
