Curzon has released a UK poster trailer for "Alpha," the latest psychological body horror film from writer-director Julia Ducournau, known for "Raw" and "Titane."
The film features Mélissa Boros, Tahar Rahim, Golshifteh Farahani, and Emma Mackey, and follows the troubled teenager Alpha as she deals with her challenging relationship with her mother amidst a mysterious virus affecting humanity. You can watch the trailer below...
"ALPHA" represents a subtle revolution in genre filmmaking, focusing on thirteen-year-old Alpha (played by the talented Mélissa Boros), whose life with her mother (Golshifteh Farahani) becomes chaotic at the same time a mysterious virus is sweeping through society. Ducournau’s innovative film skillfully merges body horror with a coming-of-age narrative.
"Alpha" will be in theaters on November 14th.
