The debut of Simon the Sorcerer Origins, over thirty years after the original, is a dream realized for numerous longtime gamers. Players cherished the enchanting world of Simon, along with the humor, sarcasm, and intrigue of his journey. In this new tale, set just weeks prior to the original, gamers will discover how he became a sorcerer and how an ancient prophecy drew him into this magical universe.
Longtime fans will not only appreciate the familiar humor of the original but will also enjoy the return of Chris Barrie (English) and Erik Borner (German) as the voice of Simon. This adds a wonderful sense of nostalgia and authenticity to the game.
Players can expect a cartoon-inspired visual style complemented by lovingly crafted hand-drawn graphics, as well as an original musical score that reflects the atmosphere of Simon’s enchanted world. Additionally, there is a surprising cameo by 80’s music legend Rick Astley.
Simon the Sorcerer Origins is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, and Linux. A limited physical Special Edition, which includes an artbook and the full soundtrack (with a digital version also available), is also on offer.
