A Library Edition of Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons is set to be released in 2026.
As Netflix's flagship series Stranger Things comes to a close this December, Dark Horse Comics plans to bridge the gap – until the first spinoff arrives – with the launch of Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons Library Edition in May 2026.
The library edition is penned by Jim Zub (Dungeons & Dragons), Jody Houser (Critical Role), and Eric Campbell (Dungeons & Dragons: Worlds & Realms), featuring artwork by Diego Galindo (Stranger Things). This 192-page hardcover compiles the four-issue limited series Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons: The Rise of Hellfire, and includes a sketchbook section, a cover gallery, and an original cover by artist Kyle Lambert.
Long before the notorious Demogorgon dragged one of them into the Upside Down, witness Mike, Lucas, and Will's first bonding moment with Dustin over the game that shaped their childhood. Observe how the group unities through shared stories and daring quests, learning vital lessons about friendship and gaining the bravery to confront the bullies in their lives.
Additionally, discover how Eddie Munson and his Hellfire Club elevate the boys' tabletop escapades! With Will and El having moved away, the Mirkwood gang feels reluctant to embark on a new campaign. Yet, Eddie employs his charisma to motivate them into adventure. Drawing from his experiences as both a dungeon master and a veteran of Hawkins High, Eddie aids the boys in navigating the challenges of both their fantasy realm and their everyday existence.
Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons Library Edition is set to be released on May 26, 2026.
