Disney+ releases a trailer for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw.

Disney+ has unveiled a poster and trailer for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw, the fourth animated film in the franchise, which is inspired by the third book in Jeff Kinney’s popular series.

This comedy revolves around Greg, who finds himself in conflict with his father, who, frustrated with Greg's behavior, plans a father-son trip to a wilderness camp to help correct his son's ways.

Directed by Matt Danner and Gino Nichele, the film includes the voice talents of Aaron D. Harris as Greg Heffley, Chris Diamantopoulos as Greg’s father, Frank, Erica Cerra as Greg’s mother, Susan, Hunter Dillon as Greg’s older brother, Roderick, Jude Zarzaur as Greg’s best friend, Rowley, Gracen Newton as Greg’s younger brother, Manny, Jill Basey as Greg’s neighbor, Mrs. Canfield, Bashir Salahuddin as the Heffleys’ neighbor, Mr. Warren, and William Stanford Davis as Greg’s Boy Scout Troop Master, Barrett.

Greg consistently struggles to meet his father’s lofty expectations. As the pressure increases for him to improve his behavior after a series of comedic mishaps, Greg’s dad gives him an ultimatum—along with a trip to wilderness camp—that may finally force Greg to confront his wimpy tendencies.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw will be available on Disney+ starting December 5th.
