      CBS has unveiled the trailer for the first spin-off of Yellowstone, titled Y: Marshals, featuring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton as he embarks on a new journey.

      Set some time after the conclusion of Yellowstone, where Kayce and his wife Monica successfully sold their ranch and land to Thomas Rainwater and the Broken Rock reservation, Y: Marshals portrays Kayce as he transitions into a new role within an elite law enforcement unit.

      Notably absent from both the trailer and the series description is Kayce's wife Monica, portrayed by Kelsey Asbille in Yellowstone. This raises questions about the status of her marriage to Kayce and her potential fate, especially as the trailer hints at Kayce speaking to an unnamed gravestone.

      With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, utilizing his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to deliver justice across Montana. Alongside his teammates—Pete Calvin, Belle Skinner, Andrea Cruz, and Miles Kittle—Kayce must navigate the psychological toll of being the frontline defense in the region's battle against violence while also tending to his family, which includes his son Tate and his allies Thomas Rainwater and Mo from the Broken Rock reservation.

      Y: Marshals is set to premiere on March 1st, 2026.
