The creature feature Kraken has revealed a new trailer.

Samuel Goldwyn Films has released a new trailer for the Norwegian creature feature, Kraken. Directed by Pål Øie, this thriller follows a marine biologist who travels to a rural community facing strange events after sonic sound treatment disrupts the ecosystem of Norway’s deepest fjord, awakening a terrifying mythical creature that lies beneath its waters.

The film stars Sara Khorami, Mikkel Bratt Silset, Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes, Jenny Evensen, and Steinar Klouman Hallert. Johanne, a marine biologist conducting research at a fish farm in Vangsnes, a fjord-side rural community, faces several unusual incidents. Following the brutal murders of two local teenagers, signs increasingly point to the fjord’s depths; could there be more lurking below than meets the eye? At the bottom of Norway’s deepest fjord lies a mythical monster as large as a mountain, armed with countless appendages capable of crushing and consuming anything within reach.

Kraken is expected to be released in early 2026.
