Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an intense new trailer for the highly anticipated horror sequel, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Earlier this year, 28 Years Later achieved $150 million at the global box office and received positive reviews. This time, director Nia DaCosta, known for Candyman, takes over from Danny Boyle, working from a script by Alex Garland (Ex Machina). The film features actors Ralph Fiennes, Jack O’Connell, Alfie Williams, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry. You can view the trailer below.
“Building on the world established by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in 28 Years Later – but flipping that world upside down – Nia DaCosta directs 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. Continuing the epic narrative, Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) enters a shocking new relationship with world-altering consequences, while Spike’s (Alfie Williams) encounter with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) turns into an inescapable nightmare. In the realm of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the primary danger to survival – rather, the inhumanity of the survivors can be more bizarre and frightening."
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple will hit theaters on January 14th.
