New trailer for the Halloween video game unveils the Haddonfield Heights map.
Developer and publisher IllFonic has unveiled a new trailer presenting the first in-game map, “Haddonfield Heights,” for their upcoming Halloween asymmetric stealth horror game. This latest trailer (see below) guides viewers through the eerily silent neighborhood that players will navigate when the game launches on PC and consoles in September 2026.
The inaugural map is situated beneath the iconic water tower in Haddonfield, right in the town's center. Players will either battle against Michael Myers (and face untimely demises) or assume the role of Michael himself, navigating a labyrinth of front gardens, winding streets, and the numerous nooks and crannies of suburban life. While the area appears charming during the day, the white picket fences and manicured lawns conceal absolute horror at night.
In homage to John Carpenter’s classic 1978 film, players can choose to be a desperate Civilian or the seemingly unstoppable Michael Myers. As a Civilian, players must guide the townspeople to safety and locate a phone to contact the police. While on the move, Civilians can discover weapons and supplies to help slow down the notorious killer. Meanwhile, as Myers, players will sneak through the shadows and utilize chilling abilities, such as Shape Jump, to traverse the neighborhood unnoticed and strike unexpectedly.
Halloween will include both single and multiplayer modes, allowing players to survive or hunt down others solo, with friends, or alongside players from around the globe.
Players will have the chance to explore Haddonfield starting on September 8th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
