Prime Video and MGM+ have revealed the first teaser poster for Spider-Noir, the upcoming live-action adaptation of Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir comic book, featuring Nicolas Cage reprising the role he voiced in Sony’s successful animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
The series is developed by showrunners Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher), along with Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. It will be available for streaming in both color and noir-style black and white, as indicated by the variations in the teaser poster.
Spider-Noir follows the story of Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage), a down-and-out private investigator in New York during the 1930s who must confront his past as the city's sole superhero.
Joining Nicolas Cage in the cast are Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Lukas Haas, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, Andrew Robinson, and Kai Caster.
Spider-Noir is set to premiere in 2026, airing on MGM+ in the US and on Prime Video outside the US.
