Taking place in 1970s Korea, Season 1 of "Made in Korea" follows Baek Kitae, an ambitious KCIA agent living a double life. Fueled by his desire for power, Kitae operates as an agent by day and engages in smuggling activities at night. Intelligent, charismatic, cunning, and resourceful, he quickly ascends the ranks by leveraging his smuggling operations to gain power, protect his brother, and amass significant wealth for the agency. However, he faces one major obstacle: a relentless prosecutor who cannot be reasoned with, influenced, or bribed. With everything on the line for both individuals, the series will chronicle their battle against each other.

Made in Korea is set to premiere on Hulu and Disney+ on December 24th.
