Shudder has released a trailer for the Adams Family folk horror film, Mother of Flies.

      Shudder has unveiled a trailer for Mother of Flies, the latest horror film from The Adams Family, consisting of filmmaker John Adams, Toby Poser, and their daughters Zelda and Lulu Adams. The story follows a young woman in search of help from a mysterious witch in the woods after receiving a terminal diagnosis; you can watch the trailer below.

      Mickey (Zelda Adams) confronts a fatal diagnosis but is not ready to accept death. With her father (John Adams), she ventures into the woods to seek dark magic from the enigmatic recluse, Solveig (Toby Poser), who has a close connection to death and deep roots in the land. Over the course of three days, Mickey undergoes Solveig’s intense death rituals. However, every remedy comes with a price, and what may be a curse for one can turn out to be a blessing for another. As hidden secrets emerge, the boundary between the living and the dead begins to blur, and Mickey must confront unsettling truths that only the dying and the deceased can reveal. Mother of Flies will premiere on Shudder on January 23rd.
