In this installment: Vampirella’s closest and most trusted friend appears to have returned from the dead. However, is he truly "real" — a genuine, conscious being? Or is he just an automaton created by the living algorithm ARIS, intended to complicate Vampirella’s own battle in discerning whether she is, in fact, a real person?
The resolution is anticipated to be revealed in CHRISTOPHER PRIEST and DAVIS GOETTEN’s Vampirella #9 — featuring wonderfully flawed covers by supposedly human artists LUCIO PARRILLO, DERRICK CHEW, JOSEPH MICHAEL LINSNER, ELIAS CHATZOUDIS, and cosplay by RACHEL HOLLON!
Vampirella #9 will be released on Wednesday, January 7th, 2026.
