With its debut just over a week away, Paramount+ has unveiled a new trailer for the sci-fi drama series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which centers around the legacy of Starfleet and provides a fresh glimpse of the young recruits who will shape its future; watch it below…
This exciting new installment follows a new class of cadets as they train under the strict and vigilant gaze of Starfleet’s top professionals. Together, they will navigate the ups and downs of academy life, building lasting friendships, engaging in fierce rivalries, experiencing their first loves, and stepping into their roles as the next generation of Starfleet officers. When an enigmatic new adversary poses a threat to both the Academy and the Federation as a whole, these cadets must rise to the occasion or risk losing everything they’ve just begun to fight for.
The cast features Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, Bella Shepard, Zoë Steiner, Holly Hunter, along with Star Trek veterans Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, Oded Fehr, and Mary Wiseman, as well as guest appearances by Gina Yashere and Paul Giamatti.
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is set to premiere on January 15, 2026.
