Following their encounter with the ancient deity Procrustus, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe continue their quest. The ancient purple sword is more powerful and perilous than they had anticipated, and they must do everything within their means to prevent it from falling into Skeletor's blue bony grasp. In the meantime, the Sorceress and Orko are traveling back in time to Preternia, seeking to uncover the origins of the violet blade.
