Hot Toys has introduced the sixth scale Batman figure inspired by the Caped Crusader's look from the 2013 video game prequel, Batman: Arkham Origins. This DC collectible is now available for pre-order at a price of $300; you can check it out here…
The video game Batman: Arkham Origins, released in 2013, presents a prequel narrative that occurs several years before Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. In Arkham Origins, a young and inexperienced Batman encounters a pivotal moment in his second year as Gotham's guardian. On a snowy Christmas Eve, with Black Mask placing a $50 million bounty on him, he goes up against some of the most lethal contract killers, including Killer Croc, Deathstroke, and Bane. During this chaos, he forges a fragile trust with certain members of the GCPD and Gotham City's citizens.
Hot Toys is excited to unveil the eagerly awaited 1/6th scale Batman™ Collectible Figure from the video game Batman: Arkham Origins. This figure boasts a newly designed masked head with movable eyeballs and two interchangeable lower face sculpts that depict both his brooding demeanor and a determined, clenched-teeth expression. The costume is meticulously recreated to reflect the game's robust and armored yet functional design, featuring a newly developed Batsuit with gray and black full-body armor layered over an undersuit on a muscular form. His outfit is completed with Heavy Gauntlets, boots, a utility belt, and a wire-embedded cape. Additionally, the figure comes with a pair of Shock Gloves armor plates that include translucent blue lightning effects to illustrate their electrifying impact. It includes seven interchangeable hands—fists, open gesture hands, and weapon-holding hands—allowing collectors to pose him dynamically.
This figure includes an array of weapons that accurately represent the tools Batman employs throughout the game. The collection features a Grapnel Gun, Disruptor, Sonic Batarang, Batarang, Remote Claw, Smoke Pellet, and Explosive Gel. The presentation is rounded off with a specially designed figure stand.
This long-anticipated collectible figure brings the origin story of the Dark Knight to life—a must-have for fans of Batman: Arkham Origins and anyone who values intricately crafted video game figures.
