With just a few days left until Nia DaCosta's impressive horror sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple hits theaters, Sony Pictures has released a new poster showcasing the film's most captivating character – Jack O’Connell’s satanic cult leader, Jimmy Crystal, looming over his followers.

Set after the events of Danny Boyle's acclaimed 28 Years Later, The Bone Temple centers on the intensifying conflict between Ralph Fiennes’ Dr. Kelson and O’Connell’s brutal antagonist. Once again penned by Alex Garland, the sequel includes returning cast member Alfie Williams as Spike, Erin Kellyman as a member of Crystal's faction, and Chi Lewis-Parry as the infected Alpha, Samson. Check out the poster below…

“Nia DaCosta directs 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which expands on the universe created by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in 28 Years Later, twisting that world in unexpected ways. In this continuation of the grand narrative, Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) embarks on a shocking new relationship that could alter the world as they know it, and Spike (Alfie Williams) faces a harrowing encounter with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) from which there is no escape. In the realm of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the greatest danger to survival; the survivors' inhumanity can be even stranger and more frightening.”

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple will begin its worldwide release in cinemas on January 14th, 2026.
