Hiya Toys releases the Exquisite Basic Series Destoroyah figure from Godzilla vs. Destoroyah.

      Hiya Toys has officially revealed a new addition to its Godzilla action figure collection: the Exquisite Basic Series Destoroyah from the 1995 film Godzilla vs. Destoroyah. It is currently available for pre-order at a price of $99; you can check it out here…

      This marks the 22nd installment in the Godzilla series. A battle-hardened Godzilla and Godzilla Junior confront a foe that emerged from the aftermath of the original 1954 Godzilla in a cataclysmic fight against the villainous monster Destoroyah. The figure portrays the intense clash between Godzilla and Destoroyah, a creature that results from the 41-year impact of the Oxygen Destroyer, the underwater weapon first introduced in the original movie.

      The newly released EXQUISITE BASIC Series Destoroyah action figure is designed based on its depiction in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah (1995). It showcases intricately detailed layered skin across its chest, shoulders, and thighs, emphasizing its formidable and intimidating look. To enhance visual appeal, translucent materials are used for the horns and eyes, while the wings are made from flexible PVC with internal wiring, allowing for a wide range of dynamic poses.

      Measuring approximately 21.6CM in height, the figure boasts individually articulated fingers, a tail tip that can open up to around 45°, and double-jointed knees, ensuring stability and versatility across various stances. This enables the recreation of Destoroyah’s signature movements—sluggish advances, sudden aerial strikes, and relentless forward pressure—capturing its iconic showdown with Burning Godzilla.
