A new adventure featuring the First Doctor is now available on the Big Finish website, where he reunites with former companions Polly and Dodo in a newly established net-zero city. In an effort to enhance the environment, the British government, alongside the Gynt Foundation and its enigmatic patron ‘Mr. Hammond’, has constructed an impressive new net-zero city. To ensure the city's success, the government requires a well-known green activist to support it and reassure the public, and they have selected the Doctor’s former companion and environmentalist, Polly. However, things do not unfold as planned.
When the Doctor arrives in the city and meets his old acquaintance, he does not recognize her, leading to an awkward introduction before they can begin uncovering the city’s dark secret. Meanwhile, an older Dodo is collaborating with the politician responsible for the initiative, but is she aware of the hidden danger that threatens humanity?
