The trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day hints at a revival for Marvel and Sony’s web-slinging hero.
Following the release of several teaser snippets yesterday, Sony and Marvel Studios have now presented the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, hinting at a fresh start for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, both on-screen and off, as Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton takes over from Jon Watts and his Home trilogy. You can watch the trailer below.
After the record-setting global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day signifies a completely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have elapsed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living in solitude, having willingly eliminated himself from the lives and memories of his loved ones. Operating as a crime-fighter in a New York that no longer recognizes him, he has fully committed to safeguarding his city — becoming a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands placed on him grow, the pressure triggers an unexpected physical transformation that endangers his survival, even as an unusual new wave of crimes introduces one of the most formidable threats he has ever encountered.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Spider-Man: Brand New Day boasts a cast that includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to be released on July 31, 2026.
