Four new Commando comics transport us to future wars.
Four additional Commando comics will be available on Thursday, March 26th, transporting regular readers from the World War II action to battles set in the distant future. Issues 5943-5946 come from the 1994 G-Tex collection and showcase the challenges faced by future soldiers.
Issue 5943 – Gladiator Challenge by Mike Knowles follows Colonel Wolfe Brady as he confronts futuristic foes. Heroes like Brady possess nerves of steel and the bravery to confront the fears and dangers of future warfare. First released in 1994 as No. 2725, this issue features cover art by Ian Kennedy and interior illustrations by Phil Gascoine.
In 5944 (Gold): Roman Challenge, Mike Knowles continues the thrilling adventures of Colonel Wolfe Brady as he navigates more conflicts of the late 21st century. This edition puts Brady's abilities to the test when he confronts hackers who infiltrate the system, causing significant disarray. The art for this issue, first published in 1994 as No. 2738, is provided by Manuel Benet.
Meanwhile, No. 5945 (For Action and Adventure): Viking Challenge by Ian Clark presents another thrilling venture for Britain’s most seasoned G-Tex Colonel Wolfe Brady. This mission requires careful handling and respect, especially as he encounters Lieutenant Tavis Magee, a rival he knows all too well. Will Brady emerge victorious against this adversary? Carlos Pino illustrates this issue, which first appeared in 1994 as No. 2754.
Lastly, in 5946 (Silver): Rogue Challenge by Mike Knowles, a malevolent genius brings a frightening new aspect to the world of G-Tex's computer war games. What measures can G-Tex take to thwart him? Originally published as issue 2746, this gripping story features art by Garijo and cover art by Ian Kennedy.
