Logan Lerman and Emily Bader are set to star in the Netflix reboot of 13 Going On 30.
13 Going On 30 is set to receive a reboot on Netflix, featuring Logan Lerman (Hunters) and Emily Bader (My Lady Jane). According to a report from Deadline, the 2004 body-swap comedy starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo will be remade by director Brett Haley, who previously directed the successful rom-com People We Meet On Vacation. That film was in the Global Top 10 Movies for four weeks this year and also starred Emily Bader, who will portray the time-jump character originally made famous by Garner—who is involved as an Executive Producer.
It is not yet confirmed if this will be a direct remake of 13 Going On 30, as details about the plot are still under wraps. Haley will direct from a script written by Hannah Marks (Mark, Mary, & Some Other People), with modifications by Flora Greeson (The Princess Diaries 3).
The original 13 Going On 30 featured Jennifer Garner as Jenna Rink, a teenage girl who wakes up as a 30-year-old woman and must quickly learn how to handle adulthood. The film earned $96 million worldwide and has since become a beloved favorite for viewers of all ages.
