Netflix has released a poster and trailer for its inaugural Young Adult-focused Korean horror series, If Wishes Could Kill. Directed by Park Youn-seo, the show revolves around a group of high school students who stumble upon a mysterious app named Girigo that fulfills their wishes; however, this comes with a horrifying consequence as a countdown to death begins. "Taking place at Seorin High School, If Wishes Could Kill tells the story of five friends — Yoo Se-ah (Jeon So-young), Lim Na-ri (Kang Mi-na), Kim Geon-woo (Baek Sun-ho), Kang Ha-joon (Hyun Woo-seok), and Choi Hyeong-wook (Lee Hyo-je) — whose mundane lives are disrupted when their wishes start to be granted under chilling circumstances."
If Wishes Could Kill will be available on Netflix starting April 24th.
