Apple TV has released the inaugural trailer for the psychological thriller series Cape Fear. This series draws inspiration from Martin Scorsese’s 1991 remake of the classic 1962 film, featuring a married couple, attorneys Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom (Patrick Wilson), who find themselves targeted by the recently released murderer Max Cady (Javier Bardem), seeking revenge for their role in his imprisonment.
The cast also features CCH Pounder, Anna Baryshnikov, Margarita Levieva, Jamie Hector, Lily Collias, Joe Anders, Malia Pyles, Patrick Fischler, Ted Levine, and Ron Perlman.
As a storm brews for the happily married lawyers Anna (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson), they face the fallout when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the infamous killer they helped incarcerate, is released from prison—intent on retribution.
Cape Fear will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 5th.
