Paul McGann's Eighth Doctor encounters a familiar character in Doctor Who: Time War – Uncharted: Branches.

      Big Finish Productions is set to release Doctor Who: Time War – Uncharted: Branches, a new audio drama box set in May, featuring the Eighth Doctor's encounter with Dr. Grace Holloway, the first person he saw upon his regeneration. The question remains: is she an ally or an adversary?

      In the Time War – Uncharted series so far, the Eighth Doctor, alongside his great-grandson Alex and starship pilot Cass, has been navigating a peculiar new universe, all while trying to evade the ongoing conflict between the Time Lords and the Daleks. Additionally, the Doctor has been confronted by the enigmatic temporal diplomat Hieronyma Friend, who has taken on the likeness of his former companions. Will the Doctor finally unveil her true identity?

      The box set includes four new adventure stories:

      1. **The Only Girl in the World** by John Dorney – While searching for Cass, the Doctor and Alex discover a slave spaceship that houses the Uncharted Universe’s version of Cass— the daring and perilous Cassie. Seeking vengeance for the destruction of her home planet, Cassie believes it's her fate to stop the individual responsible. However, why is fulfilling her destiny so challenging?

      2. **False Dawn** by Alison Winter – A galactic quarantine has been established due to an invasive species that is spreading throughout the universe and across multiple dimensions. As the Doctor investigates this outbreak, even the TARDIS struggles to contain its occupants. Can the Doctor avert the deterioration of the barriers between worlds?

      3. **Council of Susan** by Tim Foley – A formidable barrier hinders the TARDIS and its crew, but when they encounter a group known as the Council of Susan—who are familiar with the time traveler referred to as ‘Grandfather’—could a family reunion be imminent?

      4. **All Over** by Patrick O’Connor – An empty blue box on an icy landscape, a familiar face to guide it to safety, and an old house where someone is destined to confront their fate make this tale particularly enigmatic.

      Alongside Paul McGann, the cast includes Daphne Ashbrook as Grace/Friend, Carole Ann Ford as Susan, Emma Campbell-Jones as Cass/Cassie, Sonny McGann as Alex, and Nicholas Briggs as the Daleks.
