Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role in Extraction 3.

      Talk of Chris Hemsworth returning as Tyler Rake has been circulating for several years, and it now looks like he is finally poised to reprise the role in another thrilling chapter of Netflix’s Extraction series. According to the streaming platform's Tudum website, filming for Extraction 3 is scheduled for the summer, with Hemsworth, Idris Elba, and Golshifteh Farahani all returning to their roles from the previous installment, and Sam Hargrave once again directing.

      The franchise is based on the graphic novel Ciudad by Ande Parks and was created from a story by Parks along with the Russo brothers. The first film, which debuted during the pandemic in 2020, and its 2023 sequel both reached No. 1 on the Global Top 10, with Extraction 2 exceeding the original’s streaming figures.

      While details about Hemsworth's new mission are currently under wraps, viewers can anticipate another adventurous journey filled with intense action crafted by stuntman-turned-director Hargrave.
