The trailer highlights the Mortal Kombat tournament, featuring various realms and settings for the fighters, with Karl Urban stepping into the role of Johnny Cage, a faded Hollywood action star and stuntman selected to compete in Mortal Kombat to save the world.       From New Line Cinema comes the exciting new chapter in the blockbuster video game series, Mortal Kombat II, showcasing all its brutal intensity. This time, the beloved champions—now including Johnny Cage—face off in an ultimate, no-holds-barred, bloody conflict against the oppressive reign of Shao Kahn, which poses a threat to the very survival of Earthrealm and its protectors.
